1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Zahava Media ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Zahava Media provides a filtered content viewing experience designed for families. Parents and guardians can configure allowed channels, set time limits, and manage viewing profiles for their household. The App uses the YouTube API Services to retrieve and display video content from YouTube.
3. YouTube API Services
The App's use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube API Terms of Service. By using Zahava Media, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.
All video content is displayed through YouTube's official embedded player. Zahava Media does not download, cache, modify, or store any YouTube audio or video content. All video playback occurs through YouTube's infrastructure using their standard embedded player with native controls.
You may revoke Zahava Media's access to your data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.
4. User Accounts
- You must sign in with a valid Google account or email/password to use the administrative features of the App.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and parental passcode.
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create and manage an account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Parental Controls
The App provides parental control features including channel allowlists, safe search enforcement, time limits, and content schedules. While we strive to provide effective filtering, no content filtering system is 100% accurate. Parents and guardians should monitor their family's usage and report any issues.
Zahava Media is a content management tool. The responsibility for supervising children's media consumption remains with the parent or guardian.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent or disable the App's parental controls or safety features
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the App's source code
- Abuse the YouTube API through the App beyond normal usage patterns
- Use the App to access or distribute content that violates YouTube's Community Guidelines
- Share your account credentials or license key with unauthorized parties
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code within Zahava Media are the property of Zahava Media and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. YouTube content displayed through the App remains the property of its respective creators and is subject to YouTube's terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Zahava Media shall not be liable for:
- Any content displayed through the YouTube API
- Interruptions in service or unavailability of YouTube content
- Any damages arising from use of the App
- Changes to YouTube's API, terms, or content availability
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
